Selfregistration PageID/Alias not working (Solved)

Hi,
  I am stuck, I searched the forums, but cannot find an answer.  I am trying to get the page redirect working after a user register.  

In the selfregistration module, under preferences it says

PageID/Alias to redirect to after registration is complete
I checked in the page what the alias is, and it says test

I put test in the text box, but when the user registers, it just shows the final message template in selfregistration.  Should I be using code instead??  If you can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
