Granting all privileges can't get to work

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Granting all privileges can't get to work

Post by Grounded »

Hi,

My hosting is using HELM which has allowed me to create a user and database but I don't appear to be able to grant privileges in this way, when I access phpmyadmin I can't see any to do this after I have logged in through the user I have just created, can someone help me, I'm supposed to have this up for a client by the end of the day.

The reason I am trying this is because I can't get past the second part

Could not connect to database. Verify that username and password are correct, and that the user has access to the given database.

In the place of localhost my host has told me to put mysql4int.mydomain.com (obviously using my domain) but still no look,

Please help  :'(

Thanks

You need to get permission to the db first

If you cant do it yourself ask your ISP to give you rights for this user (or change their settings so that you can do it yourself)

not much we can do  :( sorry
