Help with uninstalling CMSMS

Hello. Can anyone help me figure out how to delete files in the tmp directory of my CMSMS install, so that it's entirely off my server space? Do I have to contact my provider, or is there a way for me to CHMOD that directory to allow it to be deleted. All other folders and tables deleted fine. Thanks.
