Theme Help! "Hanging"

Hi folks,

I have been developing a website for a client using the 3 column "hanging theme" (http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/uploads ... anging.jpg)

Now she has some very long tables she wants included, and the main content area on this theme is only 400px in size.  It will not accommodate the long tables. I have spent three hours screwing around with the css file trying to make the center content area larger, and the right sidebar (210px) smaller, or it just go away.  I am at wits end. In summary, I need the left sidebar (210px), and the main content area of at least 700px. Can someone please steer me in the right direction?
