Default Content in Content Block?

Post by CMSmonkey »

Hi Everyone,
How can I create default content within a content block?  What I would like is for a client to be able to create a new page and default content to appear within the Tiny MCE editor so all they would have to do is change out the necessary information.  I have researched through the forum and documentation but did not find out how to do so.  Maybe I am not wording myself correctly that is why it is not coming up.

If GCB is the way to go, I have attempted to create the default content as a GCB, but I am not sure how to place it within the template so that it appears.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

Site Admin > Page Defaults, then look for the Content block.

Thanks jmcgin51 and replytomk3 for your responses!  That definitely helped.

Is there a way to make it the default content for pages that use a certain template though?
