TinyMCE and Tables

Post by martin.b07 »

Hello,
I set up my first Website with CMS Made Simple.
After filling the content i mentioned that I can't add table with the TinyMCE. The tables icon shows up and the popup will open when I click it. But when I configured the table and want inserting it, nothing happens.
This shows up in Safaris error console:
..../modules/TinyMCE/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/table/js/table.js
TypeError: Result of expression 'formObj.elements['tframe'].options[formObj.elements['tframe'].selectedIndex]' [undefined] is not an object.

Can anybody help me with this failure.

Thanks in advance.

cheers
Martin

Just don't use Safari with TinyMCE.
(Safari is nice, fast, slim, stylish, maclike ... but somehow still sucks in javascript.)

This may be fixed with TinyMCE 3.3.6 (CMSms currently uses 3.3.3)
But i don't know if you just can upload the latest TinyMCE javascripts to fix it.
In TinyMCE forum it says:

Check the top of the main js file what version you're using. If it's not the latest one, upgrade and see if your error persists.
But i don't know what the "main js file" is and if this my cause other problems due incomptability with other files.
So just be patient until CMSms updates to TinyMCE 3.3.6.
