Hi Guys,
I am about to perform the upgrade to 1.7 is there anyway I can run the min requirements page you get when you are performing a initial install on a fully installed version? Bit like for windows you can use a upgrade advisor?
Thanks

You can look in admin section under site admin > system information, it will tell you what you are running then check that against the requirements...
Re: Upgrade help for version 1.7
I guess darkfool58 wanted to know if there is a way to test compliance with the updates before uploading any files.
Of course the installation/upgrade routine tells me if my system meets the requirements of the upgrade. But how can we know before uploading the new files. ( For example my system was a 1.6.6 and was ok with PHP 5.2.0. How can I see if it's still ok with the 1.7.1 files..... before uploading things).

Read the requirements changes here and if your server meets these, which you can find out in site admin > system information page, then you should be good to go, basically you need at least "PHP 5.2.4 as a minumum and recommend PHP 5.2.12 or PHP 5.3.1 and higher"...
