CMSms can do pretty much all thing you want, but i would like to comment three of them.
2. Built in module News supports tree like categories (hierarchy), but article can belong just to one category (hierarchy). CGBlog module can also be used as News module, it supports simple list of categories and articles can be assigned to multiple categories.
5. There are some solutions for video gallery. I have tried just couple video related modules and believe there are at least one meeting your needs.
6. You can use Google search, do not know about any other search provider. Builtin Search module is doing good job, but search is done by whole words only. So it works ok for English (with just handful of word endings). It is known issue, and it is somewhere in dev-team mind.
