[solved] v1.7.1 potential bug - unable to edit GCB (global content blocks)

Post by geepers »

Potential bug with editing Global Content Blocks on latest version (1.7.1)

Can create GCBs no problem, however, when editing, whether hitting ‘Apply’ or ‘Submit’ just get a blank page.
The resulting url in it's entirety is: yourdomain.com/admin/edithtmlblob.php

if you need an immediate workaround, the only thing i was able to do was delete the existing GCB and then recreate it using the exact same name, entering the new content with the desired edits.

repeat steps as needed :)

As it turns out, the issue I was experiencing was a direct result of the Archiver module, which as of yet is not compatible with CMS MS v1.7+

can you provide a link to the bug report?  I looked under Archiver and the CMSms core, and couldn't find it.  Thanks!
