Schema upgrade for 1.7.1

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Schema upgrade for 1.7.1

Post by gphaslam »

I have just upgraded from CMSMS Version 1.7 to 1.7.1

The site is running on a Windows Server with IIS6, PHP 5.2.6 and MySQL 5.1.36

When ran through the upgrade.php wizard I had a message that the wizard could not find a file for upgrading the schema from version 32 to 33 in the install directory, sorry I forgot to write down the exact message.

Now when I go into the Admin console there is an unhandled notification which says

Core Warning: CMSMS is in need of an upgrade.
You are now running schema version 32. and you need to be upgraded to version 33
Please click the following link: Start Upgrade Process.

If I click the Start Upgrade process link I get the same error as I go through the wizard.

I have checked in the original 1.7.1-full.tar.gz file and can find no reference to the 32 to 33 upgrade file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and Best regards,

Paul

Did you checksum?
Maybe not all files uploaded.

Thanks for your reply.

I extracted all the files directly in to the relevant directory on the server from the file I had downloaded from cmsmadesimple.org.

When I ran the checksum I got warnings that the file was a directory.

I will restore the website back to before I upgraded and try the upgrade again and make some better notes about the errors I get as I go along.
