Comments Module Template

is there any way to have more than one template or install for the Comments module,,
i've made some changes, and it messes up my other template but i can't rename the folder or the ".tpl" files,, i surely surely hope so, please,,

Maxbud, can you add this as a feature request? I don't have time these days to add features to modules, but I may be able to look at it some time later.
