Is there an opposite to cms_htmlentities()?

Hi.

Is there an opposite to cms_htmlentities() ?

I need to pass a html content as parameter .

in the module I'm getting the parameters converted to the html entites ( < became < etc ... )

or .. can i define the paramer in onother type  ( than CLEAN_STRING)
