Applying internal link to image make the image disappear

Hi all,
I ran to this problem with internal links: when I add an image to editing field and use the "insert link to cmcms-page" on image, the image will disappear. I also tried to apply the internal link to text + image at the same time, which will result in loss of both. If I apply the internal link to text alone, it works. External links work just fine both in images and texts. If I use html-edit mode, internal links in images will work. But since I'm doing this to people who know nothing about coding, I'd like to get this work in wysiwyg.
I'm using TinyMCE 2.6.5. I would have tried other WYSIWYG-editor, but system didn't switch the editor (tried Xinha and DojoEditor) and it stayed as TinyMCE. When I removed TinyMCE installation altogether and tried to use other editor, there was no editor at all. I tried to change the editor in Site Admin/Global Settings AND in My Preferences/User preferences.
I hope you can help me with this little, but very annoying problem.
