Actually, I wrote the xml output of the module code, and it works fine for me, that's what I use to export the xml modules that I then upload to the forge.
I just exported the Banners module to XML, then deleted it from my installation (actually just uninstalled and renamed the directory), then imported the freshly exported XML module, it worked fine.
Are you experiencing a problem?

There was no XML header sent by moduleinterface , that was only php.

cmsmadesimple.org site is because it's still running 0.10.4.

westis is currently redoing the templates a bit and is using 0.13 beta2. So I'll be moving that up to the production site sometime this weekend. That should fix the rss issue at the same time.
