[solved] WYSIWYG not working properly. Only HTML code ?

The WYSIWYG editor, for writing (news) content, on my CMSMadeSimple website is not working properly. I have no options whatsoever to change font, fontsize, bold, italic etc and also enters are being discarded.
It seems I can only insert HTML code in the WYSIWYG editor ?

try to uninstall and then to install the tinymce module. or reset profiles.

Can also use static config file and search the forum for other solutions.

Thanks, the static config file did the trick.
And yes, Dr.CSS, I searched. Try and search for wysiwyg. Good luck finding the correct answer beteween all the other questions related to the wysiwyg.. it's all about using the right search terms ! Without the search term static config file replytomk3 provided, I would have never found it..

I also found that adblock plus is firefox can cause WYSIWYG not to show. Just thought I would add this if anyone else has this problem.

Answered many times, usually the same thing -- uninstall, reinstall, rtfm.
But when that fails, what next? uninstall, reinstall, rtfm?

Solving tiny problems...

1) in tiny admin, advanced tab, hit Reset all settings to default...

2) make modules and tiny folders 775, then #1 again if needed...

3) set permissions to 775, uninstall/install, then maybe #1 again...

4) still fails, try static config option...

Is that better?...
