One of my clients has encountered a very strange image upload problem. It worked fine until a few days ago, but now when he uploads images, he's the only one who sees the image+thumb in the Image Manager he just uploaded. There are no error messages whatsoever. Here's whats happening:
- He is an admin, but the only one seeing his uploaded images+thumbs
- Other admins can upload images which are seen by everybody, including him
- The message that he has uploaded a file plus the actual file name appears in the Admin log
- But these files do not physically exist on the server (checked via FTP), although he sees them in the Image Manager!
- He tried via Firefox and IE (the Backend has never been used with IE before, so it can't be a Cache problem either), same result
- He tried it with another PC (with the same admin account) and that is where it worked properly
The error must be within his PC (Win XP) somewhere, but I have no idea where to start searching. He claims he hasn't downloaded anything, hasn't made any changes to the system nor is he using a Firewall. I am completely lost here, this truly is a very strange error. Maybe someone has an explanation or an idea where we could start searching for the problem?

Check hosts in file "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts". Is that PC only one using any proxy, or any router (e.g. wireless)?
