Modules -> "No File Releases Yet!"

Hello everybody


New to CMSMS, I am asking myself why we can find some modules that don't propose any link of files for downloading ?

Actually I would be interested by the "Blocks" module here : http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/project/view/641 that could be a kind of "Panel - Drupal" one, if I understood well...

Unfortunatly this module, as some others too, doesn't propose files to be downloaded.


What is the interest of these modules then ?

This subject has been kicked around quite a bit, some times someone may think of a module and register it in the forge then decide it doesn't work or isn't needed but there is no way to remove the project from the forge...

If you would have done a search it would have shown these threads on forge problems...
