Uploads module

Post by esteste »

Ok, I posted that question a year ago but didn't manage to get it solved and nobody knew a solution: My Uploads-Module loads files up (they are physically there) but does not write them into the database. Consequence: The Simpleviewer doesn't show them. It occured after I updated from 1.1.x to 1.3.1 ( a year ago or so) and directly hit the new uploads folder onto the server without using an internal uninstall or upgrade function (didn't know I had to do so). I somehow hoped to get rid of the problem by later on installing a newer Core (Bonde, 1.6.6) but it didn't help. I also installed the latest Uploads (1.3.1 --> 1.10.4) module but crashed the whole installation. A sensible topic! Maybe there is just a table to be fixed within he database or something I would be very interested in!

Thanks in advance,

Stefan

I have the same problem. I upgraded the Uploads module to version 1.11.1 using the internal ugrade function in module manager.
Have you found a solution?

Uploads does not store files in the database.  I'm not aware of any modules that do.

Paths to the images may be in the DB, is a chance you need to change your unmask to 002 or 000 then test to see if they show up, and the folder needs to be checked for permissions...
