[solved] Google image cache issue possible bug

Google is not finding the correct path for images under parent pages.

When using mod_rewrite with parent/child.html
images are broken and the path is shown as /parent/uploads/image.jpg

I have the {metadata} tag in the head.

it was working earlier this year, so sometime between 1.5.4 and 1.6.6 it has happened.
EDIT: CONFIRMED IMAGES OK ON 1.5.1

I am on 1.6.6
To see an example, the cmsmadesimple.org site does this.
Working Images on base url:

Using mod_rewrite usualy doesn't change anything with image path names... This is kind of hardcoded to the image folder.

What are your settings in the .htaccess here:

Is the website in a subfolder?

Can you put a copy of your config.php here (erase dbase data!)

Yes I had the "RewriteBase /" rule in the htaccess I just forgot to post above.
The CMS is in the root folder

Here is my config file, I posted the whole thing for good measure.

Like mentioned above version 1.5.1 works fine, so something changed between 1.5.1 and 1.6.6

I did a little more research and found I could fix it with a simple config setting.

I had to add this to the extra configuration under advanced tab.

remove_script_host : true

Although now I have to edit all my pages to fix the issue. No worries.

this adds the / to the url (/image.png vs image.png)
This is just a work around, I am unsure if tinyMCE or CMSMS is the problem.
On my 1.5.1 install where the images are ok in googles cache the urls are (image.jpg) with the forward slash.

This is more of a work around than a completly solved problem.
I am still having issues with modules not using the correct path.
I was thinking of downgrading to 1.5.1 but some features are missing that I developed with, plus its outdated.

EDIT: I have downgraded to 1.5.1 and now have no issues with google cache. I will now have to live without support.
I am unsure what to call this bug if I was to submit it to the bugtracker.
