Client changes in editor creating smarty errors?

Client changes in editor creating smarty errors?

Using version 1.6.4.

My client, while making changes in the editor (using IE 6), continues to get smarty errors.  When they click submit after simple text changes, the coding is modified, and it literally destroys javascript on the page, namely the onclick function.  I am not able to duplicate this on Mac, safari or firefox.  Any clues?

Does it have anything in the page with or {  } or is it javascript?...

Tiny will eat some coding so you may be better off putting any code type stuff in a GCB and calling that into the page...
