I installed CMSMS in a test directory and got it the way I wanted. I then copied the database and changed references from /testfolder to the main URL. I copied the CMSMS files to the root directory, modified the config file accordingly and thought I could then open CMSMS at the main directory (I have tried this with other CMSs and have never had a problem, as long as the config.php file and the database references were changed accordingly).
When I tried to open CMSMS at the new place (root directory), I got the following error:
{nocache:3efc1342a820779ecdc71c03c2b99b81#1} {/nocache:3efc1342a820779ecdc71c03c2b99b81#1} {nocache:3efc1342a820779ecdc71c03c2b99b81#2} {/nocache:3efc1342a820779ecdc71c03c2b99b81#2} {nocache:3efc1342a820779ecdc71c03c2b99b81#3}
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /[sitename]/plugins/function.cms_selflink.php on line 111
I then tried to place a copy of the install directory in and install that way, but still got this same message.
I would like to be able to create CMSMS on a test site to get right in future, before moving to production, so any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Jerry

Hmmm, perhaps it's a RTFM problem
- have you cleared your cache in admin panel ?
If you change some entries in config.php cache must be cleared everytime.

Hi!
I got the same problem as you can se at webdesign123 and i have cleared the cache in the admin panel without any result.
I dont know if it have any to do with the server setup (Solaris 8 OS - Zeus Webserver)..?
As you can see it´s only top of the page that are visible and the rest are, yeah i dont know..?
The funny thing is, that the first time i installed CMSMS it worked fine but the problem with nocache began then i installed the EllNanav module (EllNav.module.php)..? After that, i reinstalled the hole thing (CMSMS / MySQL) again and now i have this nocache problem all the time..?
If somebody know how to break this, i am very interested´!!!
Sincerely
Nano
