FEU and CC Questions on Site!

Post by ctrujillo45 »

Hello there-

I have a designed a CMS MS website and I need a solution capable of doing the following:

1. Provide authentication to access the entire website site (no admin access). The site would not be accessible unless registered.

2. Provide potential users the ability to register for the site. Administrator would be able to approve user registration.

Is this possible with FEU and CC? Are there other modules available to implement these features? If so, can I find a tutorial somewhere on how to implement?

Thanks.

Hi ctrujillo45
1. Provide authentication to access the entire website site (no admin access). The site would not be accessible unless registered.
With the combination of CC and FEU is this possible.
2. Provide potential users the ability to register for the site. Administrator would be able to approve user registration.
Therefore you need the SelfRegistration module

Hope this helps,

Rolf

This tutorial is not specific to your implementation, but it covers SelfReg, CC, and FEU pretty thoroughly, so it shouldn't be difficult to figure out how to apply these modules to your situation.
