tinymce should remember when we turn off wysiwyg

Post by dennyhalim »

i need to enter special html (iframe) so i turn off tinymce for some pages.

but everytime i edit that page, tinymce turned on again.
and when i turn it off, the form goes blank.
so i have to start all over again...

very annoying...

it should remember when we dont want it on for certain pages.
cmsms very simple indeed.

If you go to tiny admin... extensions tinyMCE WYSIWYG last tab advanced there is a check to have it not start every time you make/edit a page but it still have the turn on wysiwyg tick, I set all my sites to this as it seems to load the edit of pages faster...

an other solution is to make a copy of the template.
Add this template to the page that have iframe(or other code you don't want tiny to mess with).
Edit the copied template to disallow wysiwyg to be used on that content block. See how to turn wysiwyg off in the help of the content tag.

You can also put it in a global content block and set tiny to not show on them...
