Trouble with comments module with news module [solved]

Hi All

I am having a little trouble getting the comments to work with the news module and its driving me crazy not knowing why.
I have the latest version of CMSMS and latest comments module
I have added this

{cms_module module='comments' modulename='News' pageid=$entry->id}

to my details template on the news module. Now when I go to the news page and click on an article the comments link shows up like its supposed too  but when I fill it out it does nothing. Just takes me bak to the "/news" page.

It dosent show that i received any comments or warn me for anything, nothing shows up in the admin/content/comments section either.

Any one know why this may be happening? Thanks.

Hi,

i had the same issues.
The problem was my modified .htaccess
I copied the .htaccess rules i found in the doc http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/User_Handbook/Installation/Optional_Settings
Perhaps that will help.

If you still have issues, may I suggest you check out CGFeedBack? It has a larger featureset compared to Comments.
