URGENT !!! HELP - 1.6.6 Problem....

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

URGENT !!! HELP - 1.6.6 Problem....

Post by DavidG »

I've done something REALLY stupid....

I was upgrading my works intranet from 1.4 to 1.6.6.....

I upgraded to 1.6.6 and everything was OK but LdapUsers module did not work.....so I removed directory and copied back old directory (1.4 one).....I then went to roll back db but Cron job had overwritten db !!!  -

I now have only Old 1.4 CMS directory and NEW 1.6.6  db......data is missing on the website.  What tables etc. do I now have to change ?

How can I fix this ?!?!  PLEASE ???

you may be better off reinstalling 1.6.6 and then disabling the Ldapusers module until you can figure out a fix.  Is it compatible with 1.6.6?  If not, it might be something simple or something major.  I've never used that mod, so I can't be a lot of help.

There have been significant admin changes, including security sessions, that might have rendered LDAP useless. If you do find a solution though. Please post them here for others to see and maybe file a bug report with the solution in the dev forge.
If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.
