syntax error: unrecognized tag 'lang'

I upgrade from cmsms 1..6.6 tol mle 1.6.6
i follow everything in the video tutorial: http://econtools.economia.unife.it/cmsm ... /mle16.htm

everything is fine, but when i add {lang} in my template
it shwos this error "syntax error: unrecognized tag 'lang'"

what am i missing?

Have you function.lang.php in /plugins folder?

There  should be file "function.lang.php" in "/plugins/" directory.
If in doubt - upload files from "cmsms-mle-1.6.6-full.tar.gz" package to your server.

As said Peciura, re-upload package (at least diff-mle-vs-cmsms-1.6.6.tar.gz)

no luck, even after reupload diff-mle-vs-cmsms-1.6.6
still the same,
{lang} just dont show up in frontend
