customising CSS menu so it doesn't show the word 'menu'

I'm trying to get rid of the word 'menu' at the top of the CSS vertical menu - does anyone know how?

afaik, that's nowhere in the default CSS, I'd check your template, it may be hard to see, but it's probably there.
