[FIXED] Smarty errror no menu, no metadata on CMS 1.6.6

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[FIXED] Smarty errror no menu, no metadata on CMS 1.6.6

Post by schade »

Hi,

Just installed CMS 1.6.6 on my site on a subfolder:

http://engdal.schade.dk/

But I get the error:

string(118) "Smarty error: [in tpl_head:22 line 7]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'metadata' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)" string(115) "Smarty error: [in tpl_body:22 line 32]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'menu' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)" string(115) "Smarty error: [in tpl_body:22 line 69]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'news' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)" string(116) "Smarty error: [in tpl_body:22 line 129]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'menu' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)" string(116) "Smarty error: [in tpl_body:22 line 134]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'menu' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)" string(126) "Smarty error: [in tpl_body:22 line 139]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'global_content' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)"

I did follow the ftp-installationprocess and double-checked the CHMOD part. I a newbie but did two succesfull installations two weekes ago in the CMS 1.6.5 version.

Ive done the system verification test which came out fine. Ive checked config.php paths are as they should be.

The admin-pages works just like a glance.

Any help is appreciated!

Regards,
schade

Let me add more info about my problem  ;)

I found the Extensions -> Modules section which lists modules like MenuManager (1.3.1) and News (2.10.3).
But the tag 'menu' is not in the Extension -> tags section.

I guess there is a connection from the modules to the tags?

Installation fixed by reinstalling everything.
