letting upper part unchanged when clicking through site

Post by Suniram »

Hello,

I want the head part of my site not to load again, when clicking through the website. How can I do this?

Here is my site  www.suniram.de

and here is a homepage that behaves like I mean it.

http://www.ccyfc.co.uk

When you click through the site the upper part seems not to load everytime. With my site there is always a short white flash when doing so because it loads everything.

Any suggestions would be great!  :)

thank you!

You have to set it up so that all your are overidden my ajax (best done with jQuery). There are sample of Ajax/jQuery in the Tip & Tricks sections but I don't know if anyone has done it with a whole site yet.

Actually your site is doing that because you use a flash header and it calls itself each time you click to another page and the other site uses a simple image in the header so it gets cached and looks like it's not reloading/flashing...
