simple use of Cataloger with control panel

hi all
I am a php developer but I am very "new" in cms so I would use words from programing with no cms
I need to build simple static page with cmsms
now I need to add in my page 2 news that I get from the ""database"
I should build a control panel with no need to get in by usename and password  - in order to make it simple
in the control panel the user can delete or add news
I install the cataloger module and add the 2 fileds I need - title and string
what is the next step in order to view 2 random news in the page?
how to build a control panel to manages the news?
