Hi all,
I am using CMS Made Simple 1.6.4 and everythings working fine. I have a question that I can't find in the forums and helps docs that I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I have the main site and the client wants me now to do a sub site. The main site will be in the root folder while the sub site will be in a folder called 'sub'. The problem I'm having is that they would like one admin login to edit both sites.
Can someone point me in the direction that would have any help for me doing this? I have found help files for creating a subsite but not for one admin to edit both sites.
Please help!
Ralph.

Anyone? Pleaseeeeeeee!
Re: subsites edited by one admin
Hi Ralphhos,
I'm sorry, but as far as I know this isn't an option of CMS Made Simple. At least not for two sites on different base urls.
If you want to make a site on website.com and one on website.com/another-site/ thats another story

Re: subsites edited by one admin
I am actually looking to do it on a website.com and one on website.com/another-site/ basis!
Is it possible to have one admin if I do it this way?

Ohh, your are lucky then :DI am actually looking to do it on a website.com and one on website.com/another-site/ basis!
Yes, it is possible this way.
Create two parent pages. One for the root and one for the folder website
Under the parents you can put the pages of the different websites.
+ 1 website 1 (off)
- 1.1 homepage (default)
- 1.2 page 1
- 1.3 page 2
- 1.4 page3
+ 2 website 2 (redirect to 2.1)
- 2.1 homepage
- 2.2 page 1
- 2.3 page 2
- 2.4 page 3
With start_level in the menu tag you can make the menu ready for both sites.

[edit] Changed the page tree a bit, you have to play with it to get it the right way...

Re: subsites edited by one admin
You are asking for multi-site admin and it isn't in the system and most likely never will be...
