Hello,
I have my site's Twitter feed embedded on the home page but for some reason the "tweets" aren't showing up for me the when I first open the site. However, when the page re-loads, then they show up. This isn't a consistent problem but I do notice it every once in a while; it seems to depend on how long it was since I last looked at the home page.
The site is: http://www.canadianarabian.com/
Here is the code embedded on the home page:
CanadianArabian Updates
Follow us on Twitter >
and farther down but still inside the tag:
{literal}
{/literal}
Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening?
Christy

Re: TWITTER FEED not showing until page re-loads
I visited your site (IE 7) and the Twitter feed showed up OK for me. My guess at the cause of your problem would be the unreliability of twitter.com, it's not the most reliable of sites (IME) so you may just hit it sometimes when it's down for a few seconds.

Re: TWITTER FEED not showing until page re-loads
After doing some searches on the internet, this is the same conclusion I have been coming to, although since I noticed the problem I haven't once gone to the site and had it show up the first time. But it's not unique to CMSMS. I'm looking into possibly trying some javascripts that use the RSS feed, instead of embedding the twitter-provided code, and see if that makes a difference.
Thanks for the reply!
