ERROR: The CGExtensions module could not be found

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

ERROR: The CGExtensions module could not be found

Post by qv90 »

HI,

I searched forum and found no answer to my question ;-)

1. Production system is running well
2. I created a local installation (XAMPPLITE)
3. I exported all tables from procution system (except cms_siteprefs)
4. I imported database tables to local installation
5. I copied all files from procution system to local system (except config.php)
6. I started admin interface
7. Message from above popped up
8. I logged in to CMS
9. No chance to reinstall CGExtensions - screen shows error message on top and below menu line there is nothing

Any suggestions, what's wrong?

(Local system tested: PHP 5.3, PHP 5.2.9)

Greets

When you say you didn't copy config.php, does that mean you created an empty one and then re-ran the installation?

Thx Frasem,

checking config.php solved the problem.

I copied the config.php created during first time local installation, but now I have a changed XAMPP installation in another directory - I just forgot to check and  change the pathes in config.php....

Did you check module manager for upgrades? Or perhaps try uploading CGExtensions via ftp or however you upload files?
