Bizarrely I've got a > symbol appearing at the very top of the page. The impact of this, for some reason, is that a lot of the Javascript has stopped functioning. For example, the pages will no longer expand or collapse, but I don't get any Javascript errors. I've tried changing the admin theme and have also deleted the admin directory, downloaded the package and uploaded it again - so I'm confident there are no edited files.
This is happening in multiple browsers with multiple user accounts, but only on this installation of CMSMS. I can login to others and not have this issue.
I've attached a picture of the > appearing at the top of the page.
Curiously if I view the source of the admin, the body tag does have a space in it () - however, this seems to be the case on other installations of CMSMS where I'm not getting that issue. When I do view the source, I also can't see the > symbol, but if I inspect the page in Firebug - well, I've attached what I can see. No changes have been made to TinyMCE
gt symbol at top of admin
Re: gt symbol at top of admin
Ah, it would appear that, having gone through and disabled all of my modules, PayPalGateway 2.1 is causing this issue. I've disabled everything but that and the issue still occurs, but disabling it resolves the issue.
Re: gt symbol at top of admin
I have a similar issue, but in my case the extra character at the top of the Admin panel is a "/n". I haven't taken time to track it down yet, but at least now I know that it may be a module and not the core.
