Product Summary Exclude Catgeory?

Hi

Using
CMSMS 1.5.4 Carolina
Products 2.3.1


I have product summaries where products are called in depending on their category.... I wondered if there was anyway of excluding a category?

i.e. like
{Products notcategory="sale"}
