[solved] Styling CGBlogs

Post by jonaskhn »

Hi

I'm running CMSMS v. 1.6.3 with CGBlog v. 1.3.1.

I am trying to style the blog posts.

The templates (Summary/Detail/Browse-templates) seem to contain scripting or "template" information and not styling per se, so will I have to link from the Templates to an external style sheet?

Regards, Jonas

When you render the page, look at it in your browser, right click and view source from there you will find ID or Class of items you want to style, make a new style sheet attach to page template used for blog page...

Goto Layout > Stylesheet then Add a new stylesheet for your blog. Once you have created the stylesheet go into the site templates and add the stylesheet to the template you are using for your blog page.

Thank you both of you. It was very useful.

Maybe the CGBlog help should mention what ID/Classes is uses in the help text ... just a suggestion.
