Solved Mac Localhost using MAMP

I have loaded cmsmadesimple-1.6.3 onto a local testing server using MAMP as the Apache Server and MySQL Server.

MySQL client version: 5.0.41
PHP version 5.2.6
Server Software Apache/2.0.59 (Unix) PHP/5.2.6 DAV/2
Server Operating System Darwin 9.6.0 On i386
PHP memory limit 8M

The problem I have is with the Module Manager. There are no modules available to download and the Module Manager Preferences is also are not available allowing me to point to a download area.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

This problem was created by insufficient memory allocation in the PHP settings. Once I set those correctly everything worked fine.
