Changing root path

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Changing root path

Post by kurtf »

I am needing to change my installation from the root path of the current directory to a another folder within that directory to try and solve some permissions issues that have caused me a lot of headaches.  Does anyone have any advice for doing this or any gotchas I need to look out for?

I'm taking the current config.php file and copying that into my new folder and making the appropriate changes there before I actually start the installation process.

Is there anywhere else that I need to make a change?  Anything in the database?

I'm doing a full install in the new folder, so all suggestions/comments are welcome.

Thanks.
