Try to enable debug in config.php and look in your error logs

I did the upgrade from 1.6 in this way:

- apply cmsms 1.6.1 diff patch
- apply mle 1.6.1 diff patch
- apply cmsms 1.6.2 diff patch
- apply mle 1.6.2 diff patch

Is there something wrong in this procedure?

So, you mean I should not upgrade with diff patches? Should I apply always the full version over a previous one?

I am in case C. SO, if it is so, what diff patches are for?

Ok. I now have done a full upgrade and run install/upgrade.php.

Same problem... no menus.
I am completely stuck on 1.6 and cannot upgrade. Once upgraded to 1.6.2, even reverting to 1.6 doesn't work for menus. I need to restore the full 1.6 database.

Same bug for me like in first screenshot of yvan02.
Languages change don`t work for 1.6.2.
