Additional CMSMS on same domain

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Additional CMSMS on same domain

Post by manc »

I have CMSMS 1.6 and want to install another on a subdomain.

Is it as simple as just uploading the CMSMS files to the subdomain/folder or is there anything else I have to bear in mind such as database clashing etc etc?

Thanks.
Connie

It is simple.

Install it in a separate folder and check that you set ANOTHER PREFIX for the tablenames than you used at first install,  so each Installation will have it's own tables

it is really simlple. That's what it is famous for!

Great. Just wanted to make sure before I installed - you never can be too safe!
