upgrading a 1.6 installation to 1.6 mle

Hi,

I saw instructions-video on how to install a brand new site with 1.6 mle. I did not find any instructions on upgrading a current site to 1.6 though. Can i just copy all files over the existing ones and continue the installation process as i did to go from my previous installation to 1.6? Will this erase my current site or is there a possibility to upgrade from a non mle site to an mle site and then copy the base language? ...
