Worth Upgrading from 10.4 to V12?

I donloaded 10.4 when it was the latest version and got it installed and working and it's great.  So I then check back here today and see it's up to V12.

First, is it easy to upgrade form 10.4 to 12?
Second, is it worth upgrading from 10.4 to 12?  What are the key differences?
