many browser versions on one machine

Post by neophron »

Hi,

found some links I wanted to share with you:

1. IE Tester –
IETester is a free WebBrowser that allows you to have the rendering and javascript engines of IE8, IE7 IE 6 and IE5.5 on Vista and XP, as well as the installed IE in the same process.

2. MultiFirefox –
MultiFirefox is a small launcher utility that allows you to run multiple versions of Firefox side-by-side.  It helps you set up multiple profiles…

3. Multi Safari –
These special versions of Safari use the original Web Kit framework that came with them, bundled inside the application. They will mimic original Safari rendering and javascript behaviours. …

The first link you give for multi-IE, that doesn't really do a true rendering of pages, they will look different in a stand alone IE browser...

Just thought I'd let you know as I've tested it both ways, I use Virtualbox to do IE testing...
