I'm trying to get CMS running with cPanel X (or CPANEL 11?) and am following the first 4 steps in the handbook. However, once cPanel tells me "cmsmadesimple-1.5-base.tar.gz: 2.93 MB: 100% Complete" and I return to the public_html in cPanel File Manager v3 the ...gar.tz is not listed. Nor is any other (to me) visible trace of the upload or any error messages.
I tried it with the base and the full version of the 1.6, 1.5.4 and 1.5 versions and have the same problem with all of them.
I did run the cPanel with Nvu created .html files before and these are still lying in the public_html folder.
This is totally not my field, so I'm sorry if I maybe can't provide all the useful information on what I'm working with.

This is not an issue with CMS Made simple. I suggest you contact your hosti.
