Is there a module to allow for scripts section to be added to layout menu?

Hey,

might be redundant question, but I haven't found answer...

Is there a module that allows for a SCRIPTS editor in the layout menu (with stylesheets/templates)? It would be awesome if possible. I'm thinking javascript... but anything that adds  to a template and is editable via the backend would be sweet.

No, you can add un global content block and then is editable via backend in GCB

Thanks.. true. But that would leave it taking up the same amount of space a normal cms doc does, as opposed to a js file that would be 1/2 as many kbs. But that is a workable idea I hadn't thought of. Thanks.
