Menus Stopped working properly.

I have both Verticle and Horizontal dropdown menus that have been working properly for several months.  Today I noticed two problems(not sure how long they have been this way).  None of the section headers work in either menu.  They don't hilight when moused over, the mouse curser doesn't change, the sub menus do not appear, and nothing happens when they are clicked on.  Also in the Verticle menu none of the choices hilight

I am pretty sure that it is not the stylesheets as I use seperate ones for Horizontal and verticle and neither one is working properly.
Is this a Javascript problem?  No error measages.  The system is as follows:

Hello,

Something has changed. You have not upgraded CMSms, you have not upgraded a module, you have not changed any setting. May be your hosting provider has changed something. Your http error log should give hints.
BTW beware out-of-core modules.
