Modules not installing

Post by Kurisu »

Hi, I just upgraded to 0.12 RC2. I know this is just a beta build, but anyone know if modules are working or not, I get this error when trying to install them. Sorry if I over read a notice somewhere...

Code: Select all

DTD Version missing or incompatible in the XML file

Yikes, sorry for the double posting of topics, if a mod or admin could please delete one of these, I am very sorry. Somehow I thought it was not posting, and tried twice.

The DTD versions in the xml files changed in the B12 process, and not enough of the modules have been regenerated in XML format, this is why you're getting that problem.  You can always use the .tar.gz or .zip method of installing modules though.

No, wouldn't the unpack process done by the system?

Ok, I think I got your little hint :) As I recognized it, you have to unpack the mods first, upload them to the server and then you can install them. I thought the installation process is automated in the way you can upload the zip file and it will be proceed automatically. Sorry :)
