[SOLVED]Metadata doesn´t show

Hey again

I have problems with my metadat. I can´t get them to show in search machines

I am using CMS 1.4.1 "Spring Garden"

I have been reading that I shall include metadat´s under "Global Settings" which I did:









My template looks like this:

But the search machine only shows some text from the page and not what i wrote under Metadata!

Any suggestions  ???

Please include just the top portion of page source (what you get as a file when you save a page from your website, and then open with a text editor. Global metadata (common to all pages) is under global settings, but each page should also have different metadata under page options tab.

On my site, metadata robot, copyright, author, generator is in global settings, and metadata description and keywords are different for each page.

It might take some time for changes to appear in search engines.

It would be helpful if you PM or email me your site link. I can check metadata and search engine placement.

When did you add metadata? It might take some time for changes to take effect. I checked [url=http://site:birmanlapommeraye.com]site:birmanlapommeraye.com[/url] and it looks like there was no metadata when Google indexed your site. Also, there are not much results. It looks like you should submit your site to Google, and then use this tool http://www.google.com/webmasters/ to see how you are doing.

I also checked with http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html and http://htmlhelp.com/cgi-bin/validate.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.birmanlapommeraye.com%2F&warnings=yes and while there are some things that could be improved, there are no problems with metadata tags. Your site just needs to be properly promoted and indexed.

You just gave me the kick that I needed to get the right start on all this with metadata´s.

The next weeks I will concentrate about learning more about all this Google stuff through the links that you send me.
