[solved] changing servers

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] changing servers

Post by gemma »

Hi,
I'm in the process of changing servers from the university server where I made my website to a new one, and I'm a bit lost.
So far I have uploaded my files using ftp, and have imported my mysql database. What do I do with cms made simple? I can no longer access the software, and the wesite currently says  that I have just registered my domain name (although it is the same name as before, just with a different server).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Gemma

Run install/index.php and in step 5 UNCHECK writing table and sample content.
This rewrite a correct config.php for your new server.
