An existing site of mine has gone weird. It has worked fine for a couple of years. I didn't change anything, though I suppose my host might have.
The public pages work fine. The admin pages show no styles...all white pages, no menus, no CSS applied whatsoever. The site was running version 1.4.1 version so I took this as an opportunity to upgrade. Well, I'm still not having luck. The admin still shows no CSS. I tried changing the theme to the new NCleanGray with no effect.
I can't run the upgrade or install script either. When I get to this step (step 2): mysite.com/install/index.php?sessiontest=1 I get a blank white page. I don't see any errors in my logs.
Suggestions?

Darned host. Some security setting was messing things up. They fixed it but wouldn't tell me what they changed. It's all working now. I hate "magic" fixes.

In case:
active debug on install with install/upgrade.php?debug=1 (or install/index.php?debug=1 for install)
